Here's another great picture from Tariq, taken when he was in Dhaka, Bangladesh to speak at the January 2008 meeting of SANOG.
At the top of the pole are power lines, but the rest of the stuff in the middle is an assortment of cable TV and fiber infrastructure, almost all run without the benefit of formal government regulation.
The result is people in at least some neighborhoods of Dhaka have access similar to what's on offer in Karchi, Pakistan.
